Heath and Reach Parish Council maintains the green spaces and play areas in the village including Bryant's Lane sports ground and Thrift Road playing field. It is also responsible for many other aspects of the village environment. Among the many things we look after are:

  • Village Greens
  • The Pump House & Clock, including winding
  • Bus shelters Seats and Benches Litter Picking
  • Thrift Road play area Bryant's Lane pavilion, courts and trim trail
  • Cemetery & War Memorial
  • Grass cutting on some of the greens

 Street lighting, grass cutting of verges, roads, footpaths and drains maintenance are the responsibility of Central Bedfordshire Council.

The allotments and Copt Hill are the responsibility of the Allotment Trustees.

Footpaths are checked and maintained by the P3 group.
